About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the day-to-day execution, site coordination, and operating discipline of Delek’s CEREB-ROOM capability
- Operate CEREB-ROOM as a 24/7, Operations-aligned situational awareness center
- Connect OT data, visual inspections, drone intelligence, predictive insights, dashboards, and site SME input into one common operating picture
- Lead a team responsible for enterprise operational intelligence and visual inspection capabilities
- Develop and own the enterprise-wide situational awareness and operations-support strategy and multi-year roadmap
- Manage the CEREB-ROOM investment portfolio, budgets, technology investments, vendor relationships, and performance measurement
- Establish KPIs measuring operational adoption, business value, decision-support effectiveness, safety outcomes, and return on investment
- Serve as the primary operational leader for CEREB-ROOM and provide executive leadership with operational insights, asset performance, and recommendations
- Establish enterprise governance standards, standard operating procedures, and best practices for safe and compliant drone operations
- Oversee enterprise drone and virtual intelligence capabilities and integrate them into inspection, maintenance, and operations
- Partner with Operations, refinery leadership, EHS, IT, and Data Analytics teams to integrate multi-source data and drone imagery into enterprise workflows
- Evaluate, pilot, and scale emerging technologies such as AI-enabled inspection, autonomous flight, thermal and multispectral sensors, and real-time monitoring platforms
- Support incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and enterprise drone-program risk mitigation
- Maintain incident reporting and safety assessment procedures
- Travel to refinery and field operations sites as needed to build stakeholder partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-year / Bachelor’s Degree required
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the education requirement
- Two or more years in a leadership/managerial capacity required
- Six or more years of relevant industry experience required
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale operations, situational awareness, or data-driven monitoring programs
- Experience in oil and gas or the industrial sector preferred
- Experience with drone/UAS programs is a plus
- Experience in industrial operations, operational intelligence, refining, reliability, HSE, analytics, or enterprise monitoring strongly preferred
- Knowledge of drone technology, operational intelligence, situational awareness, predictive data analytics, preventive risk, and compliance management
- Willingness to travel up to 10–15% to refinery and field operations sites required
- Licensed FAA Part 107 pilot preferred
