About the role
- Lead client-focused project teams through all phases, from concept through construction closeout
- Translate client goals into actionable project plans that guide team structure, scope, and schedule
- Coordinate internal and consultant teams, clearly defining tasks, deliverables, and roles
- Manage scope, schedule, and budget throughout the life of a project
- Track performance against project milestones and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders
- Anticipate project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies
- Ensure high-quality documentation, coordination, and compliance with all project requirements
- Maintain awareness of client expectations, industry best practices, and quality standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback for project team members
- Participate in strategic discussions related to studio operations and project delivery methods
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field
- 7–12 years of experience managing design-related projects, including coordination with consultants and contractors
- Strong working knowledge of project delivery methods, regulatory processes, fee structures, and construction phases
- Proficiency in project management and architectural tools such as Deltek, Revit, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to lead conversations and resolve issues collaboratively
- PMP certification (preferred but not required)
- Applicants must reside near Albuquerque, Phoenix, or El Paso
