About the role
- Conduct a state-of-the-art review of solutions for technical drawing analysis and computer vision applied to CAD (PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP formats).
- Continue designing and developing an AI algorithm pipeline to: automatic extraction of relevant information (dimensions, references, annotations).
- Automatic comparison between two versions of drawings (geometry, text, metadata).
- Detection and visualization of differences.
- Integrate the model into an Azure OpenAI Service environment or equivalent.
- Implement a rigorous structure and organization for collected data.
- Document the work, evaluate performance, and propose improvement paths.
- Participate in the development of a demo interface for business teams.
Requirements
- Student in an engineering school or Master's degree (M2) specializing in: Computer Vision / Artificial Intelligence / Industrial Computing / Computational Mechanics.
- Strong proficiency in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV, FastAPI).
- Interest in applied AI and Azure / Cloud / API technologies.
- Knowledge of industrial drawing formats (vector PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP).
- Interest in aerospace and mechanical drawing interpretation.
- Rigour, curiosity, autonomy, and analytical mindset.
- Taste for innovation and collaborative work.
- Good level of English (written and technical).
