About the role
- Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks from the ground up
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, plans, and scripts (manual + automated)
- Own testing for complex systems, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Collaborate closely with devs, BA's, and other QA engineers to ensure high-quality releases
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify defects early and drive resolutions efficiently
- Communicate test progress and quality metrics to key stakeholders
- Champion QA best practices, process enhancements, and maintain compliance with banking standards
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in automation testing within payments space
- Proven track record working in banking or financial services
- Payments domain experience is essential
- Comfortable working in fast-paced Agile teams
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Analytical thinker with relentless attention to detail
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn and share knowledge
