About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Participate as a member of a project team comprised of PMs, Buyers, Customer Service, and others to complete conveyor and material handling projects
Own and manage all engineering-related project tasks, including engineering schedules, budgets, and engineering change orders
Lead conversations and drive results with vendors and suppliers to review and evaluate system and equipment designs
Review customer specifications and confirm adherence during the design process
Provide technical support for the engineering process
Use AutoCAD and other drafting tools to complete system reviews
Lead and mentor members of the Engineering and Purchasing teams as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related area
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks
Working knowledge of Inventor or other tools is a plus
Familiarity with standard engineering concepts, practices, and procedures, particularly in the material handling industry
Ability to apply creativity and latitude to solve problems
Ability to evaluate and accept project tasks with minimal direction while meeting project timelines
Experience leading, mentoring, or managing other team members
Ability to work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
