About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with sales, project management, engineering and consulting to design and implement comprehensive test plans to evaluate the performance, durability, and safety of material handling equipment
Collect, analyze, and interpret test data, using statistical tools to identify trends, anomalies, or areas for improvement
Identify root causes of failures or performance issues and collaborate with design engineers to develop and test solutions
Ensure all material handling equipment meets or exceeds industry standards, company quality criteria, and customer expectations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety standards and regulatory requirements
Work closely with equipment suppliers, procurement, and quality assurance teams to integrate testing results into all phases of the product lifecycle
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in testing engineering, specifically with material handling equipment or similar industrial products.
Experience managing large systems and physical programs including PLC/WES/WCS conversions, launches, and automation go-lives.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and statistical methods.
Proficient in using testing equipment, data acquisition systems, and related software tools.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and presenting technical information clearly.
Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations related to material handling equipment.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
