About the role

  • Member of the Solutions and Growth group supporting pre-sales and project delivery of solutions consulting engagements
  • Work closely with Solutions Design for requirements and concepts for DC design and Supply Chain projects
  • Serve as key customer SME during system evaluations and drive customer objectives
  • Provide system and solutions feedback and guide clients on best practices and system optimization for sortation designs
  • Integrate automation suppliers (AMR, robotics, advanced technologies) into customer concept solutions
  • Provide strategic data analytics guidance using large datasets (slotting, item affinity, inventory optimization, labor analysis, work standards)
  • Give client-facing presentations of findings, recommendations, and best practices
  • Develop proposals and scope of work documents and assist in project delivery documents
  • Plan sales strategies with account teams and identify account relationships
  • Lead within Sales and Pre-Contract team advocating for the voice of the customer
  • Gather client feedback and suggest new or improved services
  • Travel onsite as needed for project activities (25-60%)
  • All other activities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or similar
  • 20+ years full time experience working in supply chain related industries
  • Function as an expert on Solutions Consulting – specific, specialized tasks effectively using the necessary process, tools and operational processes and coach others to maximize usage.
  • Develop and review statements of work related to consulting opportunities.
  • Proficient with Power BI, MS Access, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations to clients and/or industry conferences
  • Ability to lead and train other team members
