About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and build the backend infrastructure powering the Traia.io AI Agent runtime.
Develop and maintain multi-agent orchestration systems and autonomous workflows.
Build infrastructure for agent runtimes, tool execution, memory systems, and task coordination.
Integrate MCP servers, tools, skills, and external execution environments.
Design secure deployment architectures for AI agents, including sandboxing and containerized runtimes.
Build scalable APIs, queues, event-driven systems, and real-time communication layers.
Collaborate with AI engineers and infrastructure teams to shape next-generation autonomous systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong backend engineering experience with Python.
Experience building AI agents, autonomous workflows, orchestration systems, or multi-agent architectures.
Familiarity with agent runtimes such as OpenClaw, Hermes, or similar frameworks is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, Docker, Kubernetes, and secure deployment architectures.
Experience with MCP servers, tool calling systems, RAG pipelines, or AI-enhanced execution frameworks.
Strong understanding of security, isolation, scalability, and performance tradeoffs in autonomous systems.
Experience designing backend systems for task execution, workflow orchestration, or event-driven architectures.
