About the role

  • Work on the development, maintenance and evolution of backend solutions with a focus on distributed architecture and high availability.
  • Develop and sustain APIs using .NET and GraphQL, ensuring performance, scalability and security.
  • Build and maintain solutions based on microservices architecture, promoting decoupling and efficiency between components.
  • Perform integrations between internal financial systems and platforms in a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) context.
  • Implement requests from technical backlog stories, ensuring full understanding of requirements before execution.
  • Actively participate in technical refinements, contributing critical analysis, technical feasibility assessments and defining the best implementation approach.
  • Question requirements and identify possible gaps, inconsistencies or improvement opportunities before development.
  • Propose technical solutions and architectural evolutions based on backend development and systems integration best practices.
  • Work together with technical teams on the continuous evolution of product, architecture and internal processes.
  • Take ownership of deliveries, with technical responsibility and a focus on business impact.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in backend development with .NET (C#).
  • Strong experience building and maintaining REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Practical experience with microservices architecture, including inter-service communication, decoupling and scalability.
  • Knowledge of integration between distributed systems and high-criticality environments.
  • Experience with messaging, queues or asynchronous communication is a plus.
  • Experience with integrations in financial environments, preferably involving banking services, payments or digital accounts.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of code versioning with Git.
  • Familiarity with code quality best practices, testing and code review.
  • Ability to critically read technical stories and provide consultative input to the team during solution design.
