About the role

  • Execute test plans (functional, regression, exploratory, performance, and security);
  • Create, review, and maintain manual and automated test cases;
  • Document and log defects, ensuring traceability;
  • Prepare and store evidence of executed tests;
  • Prepare and configure test environments;
  • Support the maintenance and integrity of test environments;
  • Assist in creating and managing test data sets;
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to understand systems;
  • Support client acceptance testing;
  • Continuously seek to understand applications and business rules.

Requirements

  • Experience with manual and automated testing;
  • Knowledge of test case and test plan creation;
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Testlink, Mantis, SharePoint, etc.);
  • Basic knowledge of performance and security testing;
  • Experience logging and tracking bugs;
  • Familiarity with testing and staging environments;
  • Availability for hybrid work with two weeks on-site in Porto Alegre, RS (city center).
  • Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban);
  • Intermediate English;
  • Experience in the financial sector.
