About the role
- Map the data structure: suites, test cases, custom fields and their respective values.
- Quantify the assets: number of manual tests, automated tests and the ratio between them.
- Analyze the health of the automation: check execution frequency, success rate and identify flaky/unstable tests.
- Map active integrations (links to Jira, CI/CD pipelines, etc.).
- Identify obsolete tests based on predefined criteria (e.g., not executed in the last 12 months, discontinued functionality).
- Identify "orphan" tests (belonging to inactive teams or systems) for reassignment or archiving.
- Assess the quality of written test scenarios against a minimum standard (e.g., clear title, steps and expected results).
- Archive tests identified as obsolete.
- Reassign ownership of orphan tests.
- Organize a focused remediation drive to address the most critical tests that do not meet the minimum quality standard.
