About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop, implement, and maintain the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management System in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
- Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with EHS requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct comprehensive project risk assessments and maintain a project risk register to identify, evaluate, and control potential safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Plan, lead, and participate in internal EHS audits, site inspections, and regulatory inspections.
- Develop and deliver EHS induction programs, toolbox talks, and specialized training for employees, contractors, and management.
- Lead and manage investigations of incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) role, preferably within construction, oil and gas, or infrastructure projects.
- Relevant EHS related certifications (EU-OSHA, NEBOSH, CESAT, IOSH)
- Ability to work on-site and travel as needed.
- Fluent in English
- Experience in data centers or other critical infrastructures is considered as a benefit.
