About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for supporting the delivery of consulting projects to our employer prospects and clients
- Leads the financial modeling of Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) financial proposals
- Coordinates and analyzes PBM annual market check review process
- Prepares first draft of new business and client deliverables for review
- Contributes to presentation of analysis results in client meetings
- Interacts directly with vendors
- Researches issues of concern to large employers in the pharmacy industry
- Manages projects, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance
- Schedules and manages weekly/bi-weekly status meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or related industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience in an actuarial, underwriting, pricing or consulting role
- Working knowledge of commercial health insurance industry and financial acumen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent problem solving and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with large data sets in Excel, Access, or other large data manipulation software
