About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for supporting the delivery of consulting projects to our employer prospects and clients
  • Leads the financial modeling of Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) financial proposals
  • Coordinates and analyzes PBM annual market check review process
  • Prepares first draft of new business and client deliverables for review
  • Contributes to presentation of analysis results in client meetings
  • Interacts directly with vendors
  • Researches issues of concern to large employers in the pharmacy industry
  • Manages projects, ensuring timely completion and quality assurance
  • Schedules and manages weekly/bi-weekly status meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Care or related industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in an actuarial, underwriting, pricing or consulting role
  • Working knowledge of commercial health insurance industry and financial acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Excellent problem solving and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work with large data sets in Excel, Access, or other large data manipulation software
