About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead life product pricing and development initiatives, including market research, profitability and risk‑return assessment, pricing recommendations, and documentation
- Partner across the organization to bring life products from concept through implementation and launch
- Develop and maintain pricing governance frameworks and in‑force management processes
- Support ongoing monitoring of product profitability and competitiveness across the product lifecycle
- Produce timely, insightful analytics and projections to support executive decision‑making
- Enhance and operationalize pricing models and tools, including efficiency improvements, model controls, assumptions governance, and documentation
- Coordinate with Product, Distribution, Operations, Valuation/Finance, Risk/ALM, Legal/Compliance, and IT to implement pricing initiatives and resolve production issues across platforms
- Participate in regulatory communications as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience)
- Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience and FSA designation
- Strong knowledge of life insurance regulatory and accounting frameworks, including PBR, GAAP, and LDTI
- Demonstrated ability to present complex actuarial analyses clearly and effectively to executives and senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse functional areas
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with enterprise pricing or actuarial modeling platforms (MG-ALFA or comparable tools) preferred
- Prior experience in life insurance pricing and product development preferred
