About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead life product pricing and development initiatives, including market research, profitability and risk‑return assessment, pricing recommendations, and documentation
  • Partner across the organization to bring life products from concept through implementation and launch
  • Develop and maintain pricing governance frameworks and in‑force management processes
  • Support ongoing monitoring of product profitability and competitiveness across the product lifecycle
  • Produce timely, insightful analytics and projections to support executive decision‑making
  • Enhance and operationalize pricing models and tools, including efficiency improvements, model controls, assumptions governance, and documentation
  • Coordinate with Product, Distribution, Operations, Valuation/Finance, Risk/ALM, Legal/Compliance, and IT to implement pricing initiatives and resolve production issues across platforms
  • Participate in regulatory communications as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Minimum of 10 years of actuarial experience and FSA designation
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance regulatory and accounting frameworks, including PBR, GAAP, and LDTI
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex actuarial analyses clearly and effectively to executives and senior stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse functional areas
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience with enterprise pricing or actuarial modeling platforms (MG-ALFA or comparable tools) preferred
  • Prior experience in life insurance pricing and product development preferred
