About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Foreclosure Paralegal I is responsible for the pre-foreclosure process across various states.
- Review pre-foreclosure documents and ensure legal validity and compliance.
- Communication with attorneys, clients, and internal staff to address barriers.
- Maintain case files and track deadlines for timely document submissions.
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulations.
- Escalate issues and assist with training new paralegal staff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred or Paralegal Certificate
- 5+ years of default law experience
- Strong knowledge of AP foreclosure process
- Understanding of judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes
- Previous default industry experience
- Analytical document review capabilities
- Able to respond appropriately to constructive feedback from management.
- Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems.
- Ability to recognize changing environments and think analytically.
