About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the integration of acquired companies into Aspen, realizing planned growth and synergies in line with deal objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive integration plans for each acquisition, including workstream structure, milestones, resource requirements, risk mitigations, and success criteria.
  • Lead cross-functional integration teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Finance/Accounting, Commercial, HR, IT, QA/RA, and order-to-cash through initiatives including (but not limited to):
  • Track integration progress against the plan, identify and mitigate risks and issues, and drive accountability across functional workstreams.
  • Manage multiple integration projects simultaneously at different stages of maturity, prioritizing effectively across a dynamic deal pipeline.
  • Ensure cost and revenue synergies are identified, assigned, and delivered on schedule.
  • Partner with Finance to build synergy models, establish baseline metrics, and report progress against integration assumptions.
  • Identify value creation opportunities beyond initial synergy targets (including process improvements) and drive them to realization.
  • Serve as the primary integration point of contact for acquired businesses, building trust and alignment quickly in what is often a sensitive and uncertain environment, often requiring significant time spent on site.
  • Prepare regular integration status updates for leadership, translating complex multi-workstream progress into clear executive narratives.
  • Manage integration communications to employees, customers, and key partners, ensuring messaging is timely, accurate, and reinforces Aspen’s culture and values.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, operations, management consulting, or corporate development, with significant exposure to M&A integration.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream projects
  • Deep operational experience across multiple business functions — including Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and/or HR — with the ability to credibly engage and lead integration work in each.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to build and track synergy models, manage integration budgets, and communicate results to executive audiences.
  • Experience operating in environments where speed, value creation, and accountability are paramount.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence skills; ability to present integration status and risks clearly to senior leadership.
