About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support leadership in meeting duties and responsibilities
Implement and enforce MTF Infrastructure RMF packages, including Package Implementation Plans and Package Security Plans
Comply with RMF requirements to maintain Approval to Operate (ATO) status
Initiate Plans of Action and Measures (POAMs) as needed
Support receiving and maintaining ATC/ATO for systems and applications
Maintain inventory of ATC/ATO status for systems and applications
Perform continuous vulnerability monitoring for regional MTFs
Maintain inventories of MTF infrastructures, IT Shared Services, medical servers, and applications
Initiate regular and as-needed security scans
Report vulnerabilities to appropriate points of contact and monitor mitigation
Support development and implementation of LAN/WAN/PC/server security policies
Provide cybersecurity reports to DHA leadership
Ensure compliance with MTF cybersecurity program implementation plans and DHA management policies
Ensure compliance with data security policies, legal and regulatory requirements, DHA directives, and RMF requirements
Maintain current knowledge of authenticator management for unclassified systems
Ensure compliance with protection requirements, control procedures, incident management reporting, remote access requirements, and system management
Perform other related duties assigned by management
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in a related field
Minimum of one year working as an Information Systems Security Officer
Current background investigation Tier 5 (SSBI)
IAT Level 2 ADP/IT II
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Security+ certification
Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Ability to multitask, compromise, and solve problems
Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Occasional travel may be required
Ability to work 100% Monday–Friday on-site at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma
