About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform brief, evidenced-based virtual individual and/or group counseling for low to moderate acuity patients
Perform duties as a Practitioner and Consultant in Psychology
Make recommendations on major diagnostics and treatment plans
Provide continuing follow-up care for chronic outpatients with acute disorders
Exercise initiative and sound judgment in attending staff meetings
Recommend hospitalization as applicable
Assess and complete Active-Duty Profiles, Medical Evaluation Board evaluations
Prepare and maintain convenience file, outpatient medical record, and inpatient record documentation
Develop, monitor and document comprehensive treatment plans to restore and rehabilitate patients

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited university or professional school
Completion of an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology
Two years of post-graduate experience as a Clinical Psychologist using virtual platforms
Experience developing behavioral health treatment plans
Administering Active-Duty Profiles
Medical Evaluation Board (MEB) evaluations
Fitness for duty determinations
Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently
