About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide outstanding customer service and visitor support to all audiences at the museum
- Greets museum visitors with exceptional professionalism
- Opening and closing the museum, staffing the reception desk
- Monitoring museum appearance and supporting other departments as needed
- Provides accurate information to NMHM visitors
- Outlines NMHM activities and provides directional services
- Answers inquiries courteously and directs callers appropriately
- Provides a basic introduction to the museum and exhibits
- Provides basic first aid and emergency response
- Attends training and professional development as directed by supervisor
- Monitors visitor experience and troubleshooting gallery interactions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education- History or Museum Science degree -- Preferred
- Experience working with a museum-- Preferred
