About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and manage content for targeted presentations, proposals, and pitch materials
- Manage complex pitches, RFPs, and capabilities presentations
- Draft and submit content for legal directories, awards, and industry guides
- Manage print and digital marketing materials
- Manage league table submissions and relationships
- Maintain matter databases for precedent, marketing, and business development purposes
- Monitor and evaluate M&A/PE business development efforts and initiatives
- Prepare competitive analysis and report on market trends, competitor activity, and client developments
- Plan and manage sponsorships, conferences, industry events, and client galas
- Collaborate with PR and Marketing teams to promote the practice internally and externally
- Work with the Business Development Senior Manager, M&A/PE team, partners, and lawyers to implement business and client development initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree required; Finance, Business or Marketing preferred
- 4–7 years of business development / marketing experience at a law firm or professional services firm related to energy and infrastructure
- Knowledge of the energy and infrastructure landscape
- Exceptional oral/written communication skills
- Strong project development and management skills
- Creative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Office skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of CRM/Experience Management Software, such as InterAction and Content Pilot
- Working knowledge of transaction platforms, including Bloomberg, PitchBook, Capital IQ, LSEG, and DealPointData
- Advanced research and analytical thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and meet multiple project deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively on a team
