About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assists with preparing the annual retirement budget
- Conduct manual audits on contributions, deferral elections, and integrations
- Prepare contribution tracker to provide quarterly contribution
- Reviews monthly plan reporting
- Assists with quality control procedures
- Supports the Manager, Benefits & Retirement with annual audits, preparation of financial statements, and Form 5500s and other filings
- Reviews and updates plan administration manuals
- Assists with preparation of minutes from Benefits Committee meetings
- Assists with special projects and performs other responsibilities relating to retirement administration as assigned by management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree; degree or coursework in retirement, accounting, and/or another quantitative field preferred
- 5 years’ experience in benefits or accounting, with at least 2 years’ experience that included retirement-related responsibilities
- Robust experience in Excel, including with formulas, pivot tables, and troubleshooting
