About the role
- Engage in deep discussions with CFOs and finance teams to understand their FP&A business requirements and internal processes and customize their Datarails experience
- Conduct captivating product demos with finance teams, understanding their pain points and identifying complementary solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase the capabilities and value of Datarails
- Partner closely with the sales team, evaluating and assisting in sales strategies and providing solution recommendations
- Leverage in-depth understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails effectively in sales presentations
- Assist in the development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents
- Work remotely full-time (~40 hours/week) with some overlap with US Eastern time as needed
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles
- Strong grasp of financial applications including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements using a consultative approach
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly
- Strong business acumen and collaborative, team-oriented everyone-wins attitude
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc., a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance, a plus
- Ability to work a schedule requiring some overlap with US Eastern time
