About the role
- Maintain data pipelines
- Train operational AI/ML models
- Prepare reports and customer communications
- Identify key data sources and guide configuration of data extraction systems
- Understand generated data and physical processes underlying data production
- Build data processing scripts to extract key aspects of the process
- Train and evaluate models
- Perform qualitative and quantitative investigations
- Communicate data exploration, analytics and modelling results to stakeholders
Requirements
- STEM Qualification: Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or similar degree
- Experience working with Python, with exposure to introductory data science
- Experience using Linux systems
- Experience working with manufacturing or production data would be a huge advantage
- Basic understanding of software engineering principles
- Principled and practical understanding of basic statistics and high level machine learning.
