About the role
- Seek out, target and initiate contact with major prospective customers within assigned vertical market
- Develop network of contacts
- Qualify and assess targeted accounts
- Follow up on sourced leads generated by inbound and outbound marketing activities
- Drive your own deals through a full-cycle sales funnel from qualifying to close
- Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, and management to ensure sales growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in technical sales
- Consistent track record in meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Proven experience in proactively identifying and closing new account opportunities
- Ability to manage sales through forecasting and account strategy
- Exceptional verbal and written skills
- Previous experience working in a technology industry is preferred
