About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, development and delivery of high-quality frontend and backend features by writing accessible, high-performance, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Contribute to software design and architecture decisions and participate in code reviews across the stack.
Work closely with designers, QA and product management as part of an integrated team to deliver well-designed, user-centered software.
Direct interaction with customers and users — participate in feedback sessions and user research to develop a deep end-to-end understanding of the product and the problems it solves.
Security-first design — develop authorization concepts and data protection architecture from the ground up, including documentation that supports review and approval by our clinical partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree (M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
3+ years of professional experience as a software developer or full-stack developer, or equivalent experience
Strong frontend skills: deep mastery of HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in React or similar frameworks
Solid backend experience: expertise in Go (Golang), Kubernetes and Docker, or equivalent technologies
Experience with relational databases; we use PostgreSQL
Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus.
