About the role

  • Assume project management responsibility for new construction and retrofit projects in the energy sector (e.g., biogas plants, power plants), including cost and resource planning
  • Act as the client’s on-site representative
  • Independently manage construction projects from planning and permitting through execution, commissioning and documentation
  • Responsible for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during project execution
  • Primary point of contact for contractors, engineering firms, assessors and authorities

Requirements

  • Degree in Energy Engineering, Process Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Plant Engineering, or a comparable qualification, or qualification as a state-certified technician
  • Practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant engineering
  • Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law, and VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
  • Technical know-how in renewable energies, particularly biogas plants, is an advantage
  • Proficient use of MS Office products
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Possession of a valid Class B driving licence
