About the role
- Technical management and maintenance of biogas plants
- Responsibility for the technical supervision of the biogas plant and combined heat and power (CHP) units
- Planning and scheduling of staff deployment
- Onboarding and maintaining service and maintenance concepts
- Ensuring and monitoring feedstock supply
- Analysis of technical failures and malfunctions
- Continuous optimization of process workflows
- Permit and approvals management
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Degree or technical qualification: completed degree in agricultural sciences, mechanical engineering, or process engineering with a focus on bioenergy/biogas
- Or technical vocational training supplemented by further training as a technician or master craftsman
- Several years of professional experience in the biogas sector
- Good understanding of biological processes and process-engineering operations
- Experience leading small operational teams
- Technical expertise in plant construction, engine technology, and gas upgrading
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Native-level German language skills
- Valid driving license (class B)
