About the role
- Project management for new construction and refurbishment of plants in the energy sector (e.g., biogas plants, power plants), including cost and resource planning
- Operational client/owner representation on site
- Independent oversight of construction projects from planning and permitting through implementation, commissioning and documentation
- Responsibility for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during project execution
- Communication with external stakeholders
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering or plant engineering, or an equivalent qualification, or training as a state-certified technician
- Practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant engineering
- Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law and the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Technical know-how in renewable energies, particularly biogas plants
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Valid Class B driving licence
