About the role
- Project management for new-build and retrofit projects in the energy sector (e.g., biogas plants, power plants, etc.) including cost and resource planning
- Operational owner’s representation during construction
- Independent management of construction projects from planning and permitting through implementation, commissioning and documentation
- Responsibility for meeting deadlines and budgets and for achieving project objectives during execution
- Primary contact for contractors, design offices, expert assessors and authorities
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering or plant engineering, or a comparable qualification, or certification as a state-certified technician
- Ideally practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant engineering
- Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law and the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Technical expertise in renewable energy, especially experience with biogas plants, is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Very good written and spoken German
- Valid driving licence (class B)
