About the role
- Project management for new construction and refurbishment of plants in the energy sector (e.g., biogas plants, power plants, etc.), including cost and resource planning
- Operational client representation (owner's representative)
- Independent oversight of construction projects from planning and permitting through implementation, commissioning, and documentation
- Responsibility for meeting deadlines and budgets and achieving project objectives during execution
- Point of contact for contractors, engineering firms, assessors, and authorities
Requirements
- Degree in energy engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., state-certified technician)
- Ideally, practical experience as a project manager or project engineer in plant engineering
- Basic knowledge of construction and environmental law, contract law, and the VOB (German Construction Contract Procedures)
- Technical know-how in renewable energies, particularly biogas plants, is an advantage
- Comfortable using MS Office products
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Valid driving licence class B (car)
