We are seeking an experienced professional within HVAC/R and Water business development to fill the role of Senior Sales Development Manager.
This person will contribute to driving a growth transformation in a select vertical, enabling a Go-To-Market strategy that delivers the best value and experience to large strategic customers within the HVAC/R and Water verticals.
A key focus of this role is to develop and empower the existing Sales Development Manager, fostering their growth and contribution to the team's success.

Guide sales strategy execution and build a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
Identify training opportunities and provide ongoing feedback to support professional development.
Lead business development with key strategic customers (SI’s, End Users, EPCs) by promoting Danfoss VFDs (FC-102/202) and delivering tailored solutions.
Engage directly with consulting engineers and end users to articulate strong commercial and technical value propositions.
Indirectly lead cross-functional teams to onboard large-scale new customers and build sustainable customer relationships.
Leverage vertical market expertise and industry involvement (ASHRAE, AHRI, etc.) to influence trends and establish credibility.
Convert digital leads into viable opportunities; engage key stakeholders within customer organizations.
Apply technical and commercial acumen to develop proposals that address customer pain points.
Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce) for accurate forecasting and opportunity tracking.
Drive innovation by identifying product gaps and influencing future market direction.
Requirements
Bachelor's preferred with strong commercial background with a preferred foundation in engineering, enabling the ability to effectively understand, engage with, and challenge customer needs.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC/R, Water industry, or comparable industry.
Experience in a senior sales or sales leadership role, with a proven track record of driving business growth.
Experience in HVAC/R and Water system design—gained through roles with End Users, System Integrators, or technical sales—is highly desirable.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Remote role with access to international airport with preference in Florida, South Carolina, and Texas.
