About the role

  • Architecting Automation Solutions : Design and implement a strategic automation framework for Aruba technologies including Central, Mobility Conductors, Gateways, and Switches.
  • Developing Scalable Code : Create and maintain Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate network operations such as provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and policy enforcement.
  • Championing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Promote consistency and repeatability in network deployments using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
  • Integrating APIs : Build seamless integrations with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) and monitoring tools using REST APIs.
  • Building CI/CD Pipelines : Establish automated testing and deployment workflows to ensure high-quality network automation code.
  • Enhancing Monitoring & Analytics : Develop proactive monitoring solutions and predictive analytics to identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.
  • Documenting & Mentoring : Maintain clear documentation and share knowledge to uplift the team’s automation capabilities.
  • Troubleshooting with Precision : Act as a key escalation point, using automation to diagnose and resolve complex network challenges.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, especially Aruba technologies.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with Ansible or similar tools.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
  • Familiarity with Aruba Central APIs and version control systems like Git.
  • A mindset geared toward continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Aruba certifications (ACSP, ACMP, ACCP, ACCX).
  • Experience with NAPALM, Netmiko, Nornir, or Terraform.
  • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
