About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage personnel in the accounting department.
  • Perform data review, data entry, reconciliation, and transaction processing.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Provide financial information accurately and timely.
  • Interpret and apply accounting policies and regulations for compliance.
  • Oversee month-end financial close process and identify trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks accounting software.
  • 5+ years of experience in an operational finance/accounting position.
  • Experience leading month-end close.
  • Experience preparing financial statements.
  • Experience performing general ledger analysis.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred, including claims billing exposure.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and manage time efficiently.
  • Highly analytical, detail oriented, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills in Excel.
  • Maintaining an uninterrupted internet connection for work from home is required.
