Evaluate medical records

Provide independent medical opinions in response to specific client questions
Assess medical necessity, causation, work-relatedness, impairment, disability status, return-to-work recommendations, and appropriateness of treatment
Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments
Prepare clear, comprehensive written reports
Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary
Answer client-specific questions regarding occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace health concerns
Apply current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews

Requirements

What you’ll need

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
Board Certification in Occupational Medicine preferred
Current, unrestricted Washington medical license
Active clinical practice or recent experience in Occupational Medicine
Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services
