Occupational Medicine Reviewer
Dane StreetOccupational Medicine Reviewer for Dane Street, evaluating medical records and providing evidence-based opinions. Fully remote role with flexible scheduling as an independent contractor.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate medical records
- Prepare concise clinical summaries
- Provide independent medical opinions in response to specific client questions
- Assess medical necessity, causation, work-relatedness, impairment, disability status, return-to-work recommendations, and appropriateness of treatment
- Conduct evidence-based clinical assessments
- Prepare clear, comprehensive written reports
- Participate in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary
- Answer client-specific questions regarding occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace health concerns
- Apply current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine preferred
- Current, unrestricted Washington medical license
- Active clinical practice or recent experience in Occupational Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
- Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
- Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services
