About the role
- Apply physical therapy expertise to conduct comprehensive reviews of clinical cases
- Provide objective, evidence-based opinions related to musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitative care
- Review medical records and prepare clear and concise clinical summaries
- Respond to specific questions from clients regarding physical therapy treatment, functional outcomes, diagnosis, and medical necessity
- Support high-quality, defensible clinical determinations
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited physical therapy program
- Current, unrestricted New Mexico physical therapy license
- Minimum of 5+ years of clinical physical therapy experience
- Strong understanding of musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedic rehabilitation, and conservative treatment approaches
- Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
- Maintain appropriate credentialing, state licensure, and any certifications required to perform the role
