About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and manage business-critical applications within Damen Shiprepair
- Act as first point of contact for functional questions and incidents
- Translate business needs into functional improvements and optimizations
- Coordinate testing, implementations, and application updates
- Support users with training, documentation, and system usage
- Work closely with process owners, IT colleagues, and software suppliers
- Support incident, change, and application lifecycle management
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor’s degree in IT, Business IT, or a related field
- Around 3+ years of experience in functional application management or application support
- Experience with ERP or operational systems (e.g. IFS, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Understanding of business processes and system integrations
- A service-oriented, analytical, and structured way of working
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good command of the English language and preferably also the Dutch language
- Experience in a maritime, industrial, or technical environment is a strong plus
