About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop fragrance and cosmetics packaging from A to Z – from designers’ concepts to the finished product on the shelf.
Your specifications are technically mature and take efficient processing methods into account.
Together with international suppliers you ensure smooth implementation and independently approve production releases.
Sustainability is important to you: you actively drive solutions in line with the PPWR.
You test and evaluate new packaging concepts, materials and decorations – always with a focus on quality and cost.
With your expertise you help standardize our packaging portfolio, reduce costs and set trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A completed degree (Packaging Technology, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Product Design or similar)
2+ years of experience in packaging development – ideally in cosmetics, at packaging users or manufacturers
Design sensibility plus technical know-how (3D CAD design, SolidWorks or comparable tools)
Knowledge of cosmetic packaging and related materials such as glass, plastics and fibrous materials
Experience creating technical specifications and logistical data
Strong cost awareness ("Design to Cost")
Good English skills for international collaboration
Team spirit, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
