About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You develop fragrance and cosmetics packaging from A to Z – from designers’ concepts to the finished product on the shelf.
  • Your specifications are technically mature and take efficient processing methods into account.
  • Together with international suppliers you ensure smooth implementation and independently approve production releases.
  • Sustainability is important to you: you actively drive solutions in line with the PPWR.
  • You test and evaluate new packaging concepts, materials and decorations – always with a focus on quality and cost.
  • With your expertise you help standardize our packaging portfolio, reduce costs and set trends.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A completed degree (Packaging Technology, Plastics/Polymer Engineering, Product Design or similar)
  • 2+ years of experience in packaging development – ideally in cosmetics, at packaging users or manufacturers
  • Design sensibility plus technical know-how (3D CAD design, SolidWorks or comparable tools)
  • Knowledge of cosmetic packaging and related materials such as glass, plastics and fibrous materials
  • Experience creating technical specifications and logistical data
  • Strong cost awareness ("Design to Cost")
  • Good English skills for international collaboration
  • Team spirit, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
