Key responsibilities & impact

The Workday Report Writer I is responsible for all work activities associated with the design, build, test, and maintenance of Workday reports and dashboards.
Analyze existing data and help map to future data structure in Workday as it relates to reporting.
Develop report specifications, standards, and frameworks across all functional areas to ensure report optimization, security model alignment, and Workday best practices.
Perform report lifecycle activities, including participating in design sessions to capture requirements, build, test, debug, enhance Workday reports and dashboards.
Act as escalation point for user-reported issues.
Participate in planning activities, development, and evaluation of technology solutions, working with cross-functional partners to drive innovation.
Ensure collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and best practices among partners and colleagues to embed a robust technological ecosystem.

Requirements

What you’ll need

An Associates Degree in technology or business related field.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
High attention to detail
Passion for exceptional customer service
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Workday reports in a timely manner with moderate to little oversight.
Collaborate across the business to understand requirements, configuration, and testing of Workday reports for varying business.
Demonstrate a passion for continual improvement of business process and technology.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with cross functional teams.
The ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external constituencies and create a diverse environment.
Comfortable with a faster than average pace and frequently changing environment.
