Key responsibilities & impact

You develop and modernize large Java / Jakarta EE systems with a focus on clean code, performance and future-proof architectures — from the first line of code to stable deployment.
As Lead Developer you are a technical role model and sparring partner.
You coach your team, nurture talent and establish agile best practices within the project.
You use Fridays to explore new frameworks, cloud technologies or tools together with the team and to share knowledge across locations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years (at least 5 years) of experience in software development with Java / Jakarta EE, including architectural responsibilities.
The technical and interpersonal skill set required for a lead position in a modernization project.
Enjoy taking responsibility, making technical decisions and professionally coaching other developers.
Very good German language skills.
