About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare monthly cost close: analyze expenses and provisions, review production orders, execute cycles and allocations in SAP and load data from supporting systems (Prophix);
- Analyze monthly costs and variances versus the budget, question causes with managers and monitor potential deviations;
- Provide management with necessary financial reports and presentations;
- Monitor Days of Finished Goods Inventory and Material Inventory together with Production Planning and Control (PCP), and monitor provisions for obsolescence;
- Participate in various studies and analyses: changes in production, feasibility of new products, supplier changes, among others;
- Perform cost calculations during the budgeting period, reviewing and discussing assumptions with Finance and Factory managers;
- Support factory managers in analyzing processes and performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improvements in operational efficiency;
- Improve the use of SAP by identifying opportunities for enhancements;
- Support the Export and Third-Party Business;
- Support the New Business area regarding projections of production costs and logistics expenses.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics;
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred);
- Good knowledge of Excel;
- Advanced English (a plus).
