About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support senior management in managing Compliance risks by conducting structured processes for identifying, assessing and prioritizing risks, as well as monitoring action plans for their mitigation;
  • Ensure adherence to ethical principles and codes of conduct based on global and local laws and policies, including but not limited to DSBR’s Code of Ethical Conduct, ABAC (Anti‑bribery & Anti‑corruption) Policy, Promotional Practice Guidelines, Interfarma Code of Conduct and others;
  • Contribute to the ongoing execution and improvement of the Integrity Program across its five key elements: Senior Management Support; Codes, Policies and Applicable Legislation; Training and Communication; Confidential Reporting Channel; and Monitoring and Audit;
  • Plan and coordinate the delivery of the annual training plan, ensuring adequate coverage of employees on various topics, including mandatory subjects such as the principles of DSBR’s Code of Conduct and the Anti‑Corruption Policy;
  • Support the Ethics Committee in activities relevant to the area and in decision‑making, in accordance with the Committee’s Internal Regulations;
  • Assist business areas in third‑party management by promoting awareness of and adherence to the company’s standards of conduct, as well as conducting reputational and risk assessments of partners, especially those classified as higher risk;
  • Manage DSBR’s Confidential Reporting Channel and ensure that all reports are properly addressed;
  • Act as a business partner to evaluate projects involving Compliance risks and ensure marketing actions and other departments are aligned with applicable rules;
  • Monitor key processes (expenses, payments to healthcare professionals, contracts, free samples, tenders, among others) to ensure adherence and compliance;
  • Evaluate and support recommendations regarding potential conflicts of interest of candidates, employees and Committee members;
  • Manage reporting to authorities in relation to transparency legislation, promptly reporting all disclosed data and any impacts to headquarters;
  • Coordinate team members in executing compliance initiatives and activities within the scope of their responsibilities, liaising with different program areas and guiding allocated resources according to demand to ensure methodological alignment and appropriate prioritization of deliverables;
  • Manage the lifecycle of DSBR’s Policies and Procedures through a Corporate Normative System;
  • Monitor performance indicators and report on Compliance program trends, identifying and acting on opportunities for improvement;
  • Respond, when required, to requests arising from internal and external audits.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Audit, Risk, or related areas;
  • Experience in Compliance or related functions;
  • Advanced English;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred;
  • Certifications in Compliance, Ethics or Risk (e.g., CCEP, LEC, ISO or equivalents) will be considered an advantage.
