About the role
- Design and development of digital and analog circuits, PCBs and FPGAs including power, sensors, servo, engine control unit, and RF design
- Circuit analysis and real-world verification on the lab bench and in-flight
- Hands-on involvement in all stages of prototype and product development, from design and validation to implementation and testing
- Design and implementation of inter- and intrasystem communications (CAN, UART, USB, I2C, SPI, SSI, RS-232, RS-485, ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553, etc.)
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external hardware partners
- Compile and create technical documents and reports
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in hardware design
- Experience working within the aerospace domain
- Experience with designing for EMC
- Experience with complex SoC designs (plus)
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or equivalent practical experience
- Good understanding of computers and programming languages (at least C/C++, Python, scripting)
- Ability to work autonomously and achieve goals
