About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement complete full stack features (backend + frontend).
Develop backend APIs primarily using PHP (MVC frameworks).
Contribute to Node.js services when applicable.
Build and enhance Angular (2+) web applications using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Optimize and maintain relational databases (MySQL or similar).
Refactor legacy components to improve maintainability and performance.
Improve automated test coverage when applicable.
Participate actively in code reviews.
Deliver committed sprint work independently.
Maintain consistent sprint velocity without heavy supervision.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong PHP experience within an MVC framework (Symfony strongly preferred; Laravel/Zend/CakePHP acceptable).
Strong Angular (2+) experience in production environments.
Strong relational database experience (MySQL or similar).
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience working on and improving legacy production systems.
Experience working under agile/sprint methodologies.
