About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with systems engineering, product, and global partners to design and implement software solutions for a service platform (Tools & SDK).
  • Design and implement software solutions for a service platform (Tools & SDK).
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain system-level software components for real-time and Linux-based automotive systems.
  • Implement and enhance middleware, inter-process communication frameworks, and scheduling systems for hardware-agnostic, update-friendly vehicle services.
  • Drive system design specifications, including state machines and sequence diagrams, and create testable system requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and system-level issues with quality and integration engineers.
  • Participate in a client-facing software systems engineering role.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience creating detailed system- and software-level requirements for complex products.
  • MBSE experience with CATIA and StrictDoc (required) for documenting system/software architectures using SysML and UML.
  • Experience with safety-critical / fault-tolerant automotive software (ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
  • Strong understanding of vehicle networking — ADAS and cockpit architecture, ECU architecture, and validation of distributed vehicle software features.
  • Strong Python and C++ (heavy emphasis on Python).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and DevOps tooling.
  • Proficiency with modern build systems and CI/CD (e.g., Bazel, GitHub/GitLab).
  • Experience leading software projects and/or small teams.
  • Embedded software experience in robotics, automotive, or related industries.
  • Experience creating test, verification, or validation plans and methodologies.
  • Automotive domain knowledge.
