About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advising clients on a wide range of commercial disputes including contractual, shareholder, professional negligence, fraud, and insolvency-related claims.
- Managing case files and assisting partners with all aspects of litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR).
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, and reports for clients.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on complex factual and legal issues.
- Working closely with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective case management.
- Contributing to thought leadership and business development activities.
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Newly Qualified solicitor within commercial litigation, at a comparable firm
- Strong academic background (2:1 degree or equivalent) from a leading university.
- Demonstrable experience in managing complex commercial disputes, ideally including cross-border elements.
- Excellent technical knowledge of the litigation process.
- Commercially focused approach to problem solving.
- Confident communicator with strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
