About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage and prioritize the product backlog for an assigned product within the Utilization Management value stream
Translate business, operational, clinical, and regulatory needs into product requirements and delivery priorities
Liaise between business stakeholders and technology teams to align priorities, scope, and outcomes
Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver features and enhancements
Support platform capabilities across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid
Identify, manage, and communicate dependencies, risks, and impacts across teams, products, and workflows
Support development and refinement of the product roadmap
Define, monitor, and communicate product, delivery, and outcome metrics
Support implementation planning, readiness, and communication for new capabilities
Contribute to cross-product coordination and value stream planning for the Utilization Management strategy
Manage risks, define success measures, support prioritization decisions, and communicate progress
Operate independently and influence across organizational boundaries while connecting strategic intent with technical execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

7-10 years work experience
Adept at problem solving and decision making
Adept at collaboration and teamwork
Adept at growth mindset, agility, and developing yourself and others
Adept at execution and delivery, including planning, delivering, and supporting
Adept at business intelligence
Prior working experience in an agile environment
Strong negotiation, organizational, management, analytical, and people skills
Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary product teams
Comfortable and confident leading team discussions
Fact-based problem solver able to proactively identify and address potential issues, evaluate alternatives, and make sound management decisions
Strong critical-thinking and balanced decision-making skills
Ability to coach and mentor junior team members
Bachelor’s degree preferred, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification
