About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support development of annual operating plan, multi-year plan, and quarterly COGS forecasts for Non-Medicare commercial segments
Perform monthly COGS variance analysis and communicate drivers including MAC rates, drug mix, pharmacy utilization, and network design changes
Build and maintain financial models assessing COGS impact of MAC rate movements, formulary updates, network changes, and client-level utilization behavior
Prepare weekly network performance updates and management reporting packages
Support ad-hoc analytical requests, special projects, and scenario modeling as directed by the Manager and Director
Report to the Manager, FP&A Non-Medicare Network Margin COGS
Provide analytical support for CVS Health's Pharmacy Services business across Large Client, CarelonRx, Aetna, FEHBP, and Maintenance Choice segments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Financial planning and cost analysis experience, ideally in a PBM, managed care, or health benefits environment
Understanding of pharmacy COGS drivers including MAC pricing, drug mix, and pharmacy network utilization
Proficiency in Excel and experience with large data sets
Tableau or similar visualization tool experience preferred
Strong analytical skills with the ability to decompose multi-driver variances and communicate findings clearly
Effective written and verbal communication; ability to prepare management-ready reporting
Collaborative work style; ability to partner with Network Pricing and Operations teams
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Master's degree preferred
