About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute Salesforce code deployments for releases
- Maintain, govern, and care for all Salesforce environments and sandboxes under the CIBTD framework
- Support and guide multiple application development teams on a multi-program, federated Salesforce platform
- Maintain code across multiple Salesforce environments and ensure consistency, stability, and deployment readiness
- Manage version control workflows and build configuration
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using DevOps and automation tools
- Integrate and support security code-scanning tools
- Integrate pipelines with automated test suites and trigger tests after each deployment
- Automate manual deployment steps and improve release efficiency, reliability, and repeatability
- Own DevOps pipeline architecture and drive continuous improvement
- Partner with onsite and offshore engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6 to 8+ years of Salesforce DevOps experience
- Strong automation-first mindset and experience in a large-scale Salesforce ecosystem
- Experience with Copado, AutoRabit, or similar tools preferred
- Experience leading Salesforce code deployments and managing Salesforce sandboxes
- Strong understanding of Git version control, branching strategies, merging, and build configuration
- Hands-on experience with Unlocked Packages, SFDX, Apex, Lightning, and Vlocity
- Mastery of advanced Git operations including conflict resolution, cherry-picking, rebasing, and re-baselining
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with security code-scanning tools such as Snyk, Checkmarx, ApexPMD, or SonarQube
- Experience integrating automated test suites into deployment pipelines
- Certified Salesforce Platform Developer 1
- Certified in a Salesforce DevOps product such as Copado or AutoRabit
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification is a plus
- Agentforce/Data Cloud deployment experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with large onsite and offshore engineering teams
