About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth of individual products through new sales and buy-up expansion across existing clients within an assigned national account territory
  • Own sales performance for assigned products, including new logo sales and buy-up/upsell within existing customers
  • Partner with national account sales and account teams to identify target accounts and segments
  • Develop product-specific sales strategies and growth plans
  • Support pipeline development and deal advancement, including client and broker discussions
  • Equip sales teams, brokers, and consultants with value propositions, competitive positioning, client-ready messaging, and materials
  • Deliver sales training, product education sessions, and market-facing presentations
  • Translate complex product features into simple, client-relevant benefits
  • Maintain understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and national account buyer needs
  • Gather voice-of-customer insights through broker, consultant, and client engagement
  • Provide insights to product management to refine positioning, pricing, and packaging
  • Track sales, conversion rates, revenue growth, and adoption/penetration rates
  • Identify performance gaps and implement targeted growth actions
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership
  • Contribute to business cases, product enhancements, and market expansion strategies
  • Provide field-driven input into product roadmap and prioritization
  • Ensure offerings align with customer demand and commercial viability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in field sales leadership, product strategy, commercial product roles, sales enablement, business development, account growth, or related market-facing roles
  • Experience supporting revenue growth through product positioning, sales strategy, market execution, or expansion within existing accounts
  • Strong understanding of payor-focused products, healthcare solutions, or related commercial market segments
  • Experience partnering closely with sales teams and product leaders in a matrixed environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence supporting external client and broker discussions
  • Ability to translate product direction into commercially relevant messaging and practical sales execution
  • Strong organizational judgment, prioritization, and follow-through in high-visibility, market-facing work
  • Ability to operate independently and influence decisions without formal authority
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, specialized training, or relevant professional qualification
