Deliver compassionate care to pharmacy patients and customers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least 16 years of age
Licensure requirements vary by state
Ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
Customer service orientation and ability to respond appropriately to customers
Verbal and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Mathematical reasoning, including calculating prescription day supply
Problem-resolution and judgment skills
Ability to remain upright and move about on foot for sustained periods
Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements, typing, reaching, bending, and stooping
Ability to communicate detailed spoken instructions accurately
Ability to perceive normal speaking-level sounds and receive detailed oral information
Close visual acuity for transcription, computer-terminal viewing, and small-part inspection
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs; frequent exertion of up to 10 lbs
Previous pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service experience preferred
Previous Pharmacy Technician experience preferred
PTCB National Certification preferred
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
